Our partner is a world leader in industrial packaging products and services. They are supporting the EMEA region from their Budapest based BSC. They are now looking for a Payroll Specialist into their HR SSC team.

Pozíció leírása / Job description

This position is responsible for processing HR transactions, answering questions, resolving problems and providing support and services to HR professionals applying company policies, practices and standard operating procedure.

Payroll support for Hungary:

- Gathering payroll related information for Hungarian entities and preparing them for uploading into the ADP SPM-Tool, according to given time schedule
- Cooperation with ADP payroll specialist during ongoing payroll process, checking and verifying payroll trial run and for issuing employee certificates
- Maintaining employment files and HR department records
- Processing and monitoring the time & attendance system (Nexon) and providing support for employees and managers regarding the system and issues
- Keep tracking of holidays, sicknesses and overtime records in the system and provide regular reports on them

HR Support for Hungary:

- Complete employment and payroll verifications
- Organize all HR department online records, employment files in the online system
- Managing onboarding tasks including systems transactions and communication to stakeholders
- Coordinate the rehire/transfer process in accordance with company policy and ensure proper documentation is provided
- Develop working partnership with managerial staff and workforce to optimize working relationship


- Ensure data integrity in HRIS systems for Hungary
- Daily maintenance of HRIS systems: entering new employees and updating employee information
- Conduct transactional processing: transfer of employees, data correction & maintenance.
- Processing, auditing and approving employee changes
- Completing and distributing reports

HR SSC operation in Budapest:

- Describe transitioned processes and create process descriptions
- Initiate process improvements and standardization
- Regularly monitors compliance of requests

Elvárások / Requirements

- University/college degree is preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in Shared Service Center environment in the field of HR Support or equivalent HR and payroll support experience for Hungary
- Fluent communication in English is a must
- Competent user of MS Office and experience in HR IS system
- Workday experience is an advantage

- Proactive, can-do approach to solve problems
- Experience and success in working independently, defining priorities and arranging your own agenda
- Strong customer focus, organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Must be able to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities
- Be comfortable working in an evolving organizational structure
- Experience in developing process documentation is an advantage
