Our Partner is a Swedish multinational company developing, manufacturing and distributing products for brake and suspension systems on commercial vehicles. Their customers are typically manufacturers of heavy trucks, buses and trailers. They have a strong global presence with sales offices, R&D and production sites all over the world. They are looking for a new colleague for their Hungarian manufacturing plant at Szentlőrinckáta for a regional SQE position.
Pozíció leírása / Job descriptionAs a Regional Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for visiting suppliers, conducting audits and developing their technical background to achieve a higher level of quality with their products. Yours tasks will include:
- Ownership and responsibility for a specific mechanical, metal commodity
- Participating in the supplier selection process, conducting supplier pre-audits and supplier evaluation
- Providing product and process assurance for new projects (new supplier and/or new product)
- Identifying suppliers that needs to be developed and as well as developing suppliers to the required level by the company
- Conducting regular system and process audits at suppliers, according to an established audit schedule
- Working directly with suppliers in new APQP projects to ensure product and process quality assurance
- Solving quality related issues with nominated suppliers within a timely manner
- Responsibility for SQA activities in the escalation process
- Traveling frequently to suppliers to conduct audits that are mentioned above
The ideal candidate has:
- University or bachelor's degree in engineering or other relevant field
- Several years of quality related experience
- Quality Core Tool knowledge (8D, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSC)
- IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 quality system knowledge
- Fluent English language knowledge
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Determined personality, solution oriented mindset and good time management skills
- Willingness to travel
