How to prepare for an interview?

If you have been invited for an interview, you have been given the green light to show the employer your suitability for the job.The first step you should do is to check the company's website, customer and competitor sites, magazines, and articles. All these sources can give you relevant information about the organization, culture and its market presence. Having gathered enough information about the employer, you should think about questions you might be asked. Study your CV, and ask yourself questions that would concern you if you received your resume. Generally, think about your achievements, problems you successfully solved, characteristics in which you want to improve, your motivations and expectations, long term career plan and any gaps your CV might include. There are some popular questions that may be asked by the interviewer, e.g. what are your weaknesses? In this case, don't reveal your negative characteristics, but pick the most forgivable one for the role you are doing, eg. confidence can shade into arrogance, etc.

After thinking about questions they may ask from you, list your questions to ask your potential employer in your mind, e.g. questions about future company plans, department structure, reason for the job opening, expectations of the employer, etc. If you don't ask enough questions, they may believe that you have a lack of interest. Dress appropriately, wear official outfit and ensure your appearance is both smart and comfortable.
You have to plan your journey to the company. Leave plenty of time to arrive on time.
