We are looking for a Release Manager to join their team
Pozíció leírása / Job description- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain a release schedule that aligns with the product roadmap
- Coordinate release activities, including planning, testing, and deployment, to meet project timelines
- Implement and maintain version control systems to track changes and manage code repositories
- Ensure proper configuration management practices are followed to maintain the integrity of software builds
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to develop and execute comprehensive test plans for each release
- Implement and enforce testing standards to guarantee the reliability and performance of software products
- Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation plans to address them
- Monitor and manage issues that may impact the release schedule, working to resolve them efficiently
- Define and implement deployment strategies to minimize downtime and impact on end-users
- Develop rollback plans and procedures to address any unforeseen issues during the deployment process
- Communicate release schedules, status updates, and potential impacts to relevant stakeholders
- 3+ years of experience as a Release Manager or in a similar role within a software development environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, version control systems, and configuration management
- Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and testing methodologies
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English
